Saif al-Islam Gaddafi - the urbane, playboy son of the Libyan dictator formerly known as Colonel 'Mad Dog' Gaddafi - is clearly a complete arse.
Having passed himself off as a near normal human being - by Gaddafi standards anyway - it now turns out that he was just as bonkers as the rest of the family.
Despite his degree and thesis from the London School of Economics (LSE) - on democracy and 'democratisation' would you believe.
Saif is now on the run with his old man - but enjoyed the same good things in life as your average peace loving Libyan citizen - including his own personal zoo.
Not being content to ape Michael Jackson with a rival to poor Bubbles the Chimp - Saif Gaddafi surrounded himself with wild 'big cats' - including lions and tigers - big Asian cats not being a native species to north Africa of course.
And when one of his tigers died - he packed it off to Italy to be stuffed by an Italian taxidermist - presumably to go on display in one of the families magnificent and opulent palaces.
We know this because of Sky News - which isn't a public service broadcaster - but has certainly behaved in a very public spirited way - and brought us these fascinating details.
So if the authorities ever catch up with this madman - I hope they add animal cruelty to the many charges that are piling up - against Colonel Gaddafi's alleged favourite son and heir.
