Troubled Soul
In all the words that have been written about Osama bin Laden no one - so far at least - has put their finger on why he was such a troubled - and troublesome soul.
But I think I have the answer - he was it appears the 17th child out of a 'family' of 52 - would you believe.
Now to most people that sounds like a herd of cattle - as opposed to a proper loving family - though that's polygamy for you - fed up with one wife, just get yourself a new one.
Apparently Osama's father had 22 wives in total although only ever 4 at one time - in order to satisfy the requirements of Islamic law - those surplus to requirements were divorced as he went along.
So that's all right then.
But can you imagine the problems of getting some proper attention in a 'family' that size - never mind getting to use the bathroom in the morning?
As a middle child myself, I can understand the frustration that poor Osama must have felt - throughout his troubled life.
Mind you that doens't excuse his ghastly behaviour - or his tendency to go around blowing people up in the name of his his religion.
