Don't Hold Back, Get Stuck In
I have circulated the post on Censorhip in South Lanarkshire - to the five constituency MSPs who cover the South Lanarkshire Council area.
Already I've received some encouraging responses - which I plan to follow up by meeting any MSPs who are interested in getting to the bottom of what has been going on in South Lanarkshire - all these years.
But MSPs will also be very interested to hear directly - from their local constituents.
Because there's something about potential voters getting worked up over an issue that helps concentrate the minds of politicians - whichever party they represent.
South Lanarkshire Council, of course, faces a local election next year - in May 2012.
And if I have anything to do with it, Equal Pay will become a big, big issue - as the voters go to the polls.
So readers working in South Lanarkshire - get to your phones, pens and keyboards - let your MSP know what you think of South Lanarkshire Council's behaviour on freedom of information and equal pay.
You don't have to compose a big, long or fancy letter - just say what you think - be honest, up front and speak your mind.
Ask your MSP for a meeting - go along with a few friends or work colleagues - to help get your message across.
I've already published e-mail address for the five consituency MSPs - but will do so again.
In the meantime, don't hold back - get stuck in - because many hands make light work.
