Compare and Contrast
I was struck by the difference in behaviour over the weekend - between Sam Warburton and Wayne Looney.
Sam - the captain of Wales - was sent off the field of play for a dangerous tackle - in the biggest game of his life - the semi final of a Rugby World Cup.
Now most people regard Sam's sending off as a completely crazy decision - one taken in haste and - with the benefit of hindsight - a clear mistake.
Yet Sam and Wales took it on the chin - they kept their dignity and refused to blame the referee - and even though their captain received a three match ban - there will be no appeal.
Wayne Looney on the other hand was sent off - quite correctly - for violent conduct on the football field - after he kicked out at an opposing player from Montenegro.
What a bampot.
And ever since all we've heard from this spoiled footballing superstar - is the sound of whining and complaining about how harshly he has been treated.
To make matters worse the English FA are set to appeal his three match ban - and his cause is being taken up by various commentators in the press and media.
But to my mind - instead of crying like a baby Looney should grow up - and look to Sam Warburton and Wales for inspiration.
Me - I'm so impressed I'm going to place a bet on Wales winning the next rugby world cup.
Because the team's Captain Courageous - and his players - have inspired a nation.
