South Lanarkshire - Hearing Dates

The next round of hearings involving South Lanarkshire Council - gets underway again next week - on the following dates:

Wednesday 31st August 2011

Thursday 1st September 2011

Friday 2nd September 2011.

The hearings normally start at 10 am and will take place at the Glasgow Employment Tribunal office - at 215 Bothwell Street which is a short walk from Central Station.

As ever individual claimants are entitled to attend - and if you do go along, introduce yourself to Carol Fox - who will be there on behalf of Fox Cross Solicitors.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
