Jeremy Corbyn has been an MP for more than 40 years - he was first elected to the House of Commons in 1983 and has been there ever since. 

High time he stepped off the political roundabout and made way for some new blood - he's had a good innings!

SNP - 'Mr&Mrs' Politburo

Jim Sillars is spot on about the dreadful personality cult which allowed Peter Murrell and Nicola Sturgeon to run the SNP as a 'Mr & Mrs' tag team for years. What's astonishing is that SNP members - party activists, councillors, MSPs and MPs - turned a blind eye to things for so long  which helps explain why the SNP is in such a terrible mess today.
