The SNP are bogged down in scandal after scandal these days, but 'Honest John' Swinney insists Nicola Sturgeon will be an asset in the general election. 

Next up - 'Morocco Mike' Matheson will be joining John and Nicola on a whistle stop tour of Scotland.

Jim Sillars is spot on about the dreadful personality cult which allowed Peter Murrell and Nicola Sturgeon to run the SNP as a 'Mr & Mrs' tag team for years. What's astonishing is that SNP members - party activists, councillors, MSPs and MPs - turned a blind eye to things for so long  which helps explain why the SNP is in such a terrible mess today.
