Another Fine SNP Mess!

The latest SNP election attack on Labour has boomeranged with the news from Usdaw that all staff at United Wholesale, the Sarwar family firm, are actually paid more than the 'real living wage'.

A union spokesperson said: 

“Usdaw has a trade union recognition agreement with United Wholesale Scotland and we negotiate on pay with the company. In our last negotiation we agreed a pay deal that delivered an income higher than the real living wage for all employees."

Jim Sillars is spot on about the dreadful personality cult which allowed Peter Murrell and Nicola Sturgeon to run the SNP as a 'Mr & Mrs' tag team for years. What's astonishing is that SNP members - party activists, councillors, MSPs and MPs - turned a blind eye to things for so long  which helps explain why the SNP is in such a terrible mess today.
