Clarkson's Farm 3 is the best thing on the telly at the moment - funny, irreverent and subversive.

I've watched all three series now - they are all beautifully shot examples of TV as great entertainment while also having something to say about the human condition.

Clarkson's Farm is one of the best things I've watched on TV for a while - the nation's favourite petrolhead confounds his critics by being a 'closet environmentalist' and a surprisingly hard worker who is prepared to turn his hand to just about anything.

SNP - 'Mr&Mrs' Politburo

Jim Sillars is spot on about the dreadful personality cult which allowed Peter Murrell and Nicola Sturgeon to run the SNP as a 'Mr & Mrs' tag team for years. What's astonishing is that SNP members - party activists, councillors, MSPs and MPs - turned a blind eye to things for so long  which helps explain why the SNP is in such a terrible mess today.
