Politicians, Double Standards and Selective Memories

SNP politicians are feigning outrage at July 4 being named as the date for the UK general election because it's the start of the school holidays in Scotland.

While conveniently forgetting the SNP declared October 9 2023 as the date for IndyRef2 - slap bang in the middle of the mid-term break for Scotland schools. 

IndyRef2 never happened of course and Scotland's is now on to its 3rd SNP First Minister in a row without calling new elections to the Scottish Parliament.

SNP - 'Mr&Mrs' Politburo

Jim Sillars is spot on about the dreadful personality cult which allowed Peter Murrell and Nicola Sturgeon to run the SNP as a 'Mr & Mrs' tag team for years. What's astonishing is that SNP members - party activists, councillors, MSPs and MPs - turned a blind eye to things for so long  which helps explain why the SNP is in such a terrible mess today.
