FoI Request
Here's another FoI request to North Lanarkshire regarding the pay arrangements of traditional male Council jobs and as I've said many times before the argument over equal pay has never about the men being paid too much, but about the women being paid too little.
The introduction of a new job evaluation scheme and the pay arrangements which follow is a process that should have the support and confidence of the workforce, but that can only happen if things are handled in an open and transparent manner.
If you ask me the Council has a duty to put the facts on the table, so that people can see what has been happening for themselves.
