Calling South Lanarkshire

The number of 'untraced' A4ES clients in South Lanarkshire has fallen from 9 to 8 individuals - so many thanks to readers who have helped spread with word around because it has helped reduce the total.

The following claimants have still not got in touch and if they don't do so soon, they run the risk of their settlements falling at the final hurdle which would be a great shame having come this far.

I'm surprised that Helen Lennon is on the list because (assuming that this is the same person) Helen came to all the local A4ES meetings in South Lanarkshire and was heavily involved in putting the case across to local councillors, MSPs and MPs. 

So if readers are in touch with any of these individuals ask them to contact A4ES urgently - and before it is too late.

Calling South Lanarkshire (21 May 2014)

The settlement with South Lanarkshire Council has gone very smoothly, despite the large number (3,000+) of people involved, but the office has been unable to contact the following Action 4 Equality Scotland clients

In some cases letters sent out by Fox and Partners Solicitors have been returned, so people may have changed address without advising us and the Council cannot assist where individuals are no longer employed by the Council. 

In another case a claimant had died, but their family were not aware of the ongoing equal pay claim which would otherwise become part of the deceased person's estate.
