Brothers in Arms
After all the negative comment in the weekend press Ed Miliband - understandably - has tried to pour oil on troubled waters - as far as the Labour party leadership is concerned.
So contrary to all the speculation and rumours - Ed and his older brother David have not fallen out - and they are not at each other's throats.
Apparently they're really best of mates - brothers in arms to coin a phrase - so the media have got it all wrong - again.
But the problem for Labour is that this 'trust me, I'm a politician' approach - comes after long years of denying flat-out - the terrible, debilitating feud between Gordon Brown and Tony Blair.
Which so undermined the last Labour government - and turned out to be completely true - of course.
In which case how are we to tell the difference between what is actually true - and what is really just Labour party spin?
