SNP's Missing Money Mystery

Now I'm not a member or supporter, but this SNP 'missing money malarkey' is enough to give an aspirin a terrible headache!

Especially over something that ought to be very easily explained.

As I understand the background, the SNP set up a new and  separate 'fighting fund' to support Indyref2.

Indyref2 never happened, of course, so the £600,000 raised should have been held in the SNP's piggy bank awaiting the big day.

The funds should certainly not have been spent on other SNP/HQ running costs since the £600,000 was raised for a very specific purpose.

So what's the big deal - why can't the party leadership just 'open the books' and explain exactly what's happened to the members' money?

If they can't, then heads should roll - simple as that because it's an issue about accountability, trust and transparency.
