Is Humza Fit To Be First Minister?


Former SNP health minister Alex Neil insists that Humza Yousaf deliberately arranged a meeting to avoid an important vote on same sex marriage, as he was under pressure from religious leaders.

"The truth is he (Humza Yousaf) asked to be 'skipped' because he was under pressure and then arranged a ministerial meeting, and that was to cover for not voting, and if he says anything different, it's not true."

"There was no reason why that meeting had to be at the same time as the vote on the bill."

The attempts by some in the SNP to gang up on Kate Forbes are backfiring spectacularly - and the question now is whether Humza 'Cop Out' Yousaf is a fit and proper person to become First Minister.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
