Looney Tune Trump - Mine, All Mine!

 

Morten Morland's cartoon captures the increasingly Looney Tune behaviour of Donald Trump who was soundly beaten in America's 2020 presidential election by Joe Biden.

The game is up, but Trump continues to peddle ridiculous conspiracy claims about vote rigging and electoral fraud which have been rejected by election officials across Republican and Democrat controlled states.

The courts have also given Trump's lawyers short shrift which is not surprising because the lead attorney os none other than Rudy 'Pants' Giuliani.

I am struggling to understand why anyone would waste their money making a movie about Rudy Giuliani, but James Woods definitely deserves a 'Razzie' for his portrayal of Donald Trump's personal lawyer.  

I can't wait for the sequel featuring Rudy's unforgettable encounter with Borat.

Rudy Giuliani: lies on bed and puts his hand down his pants.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
