North Lanarkshire
A number of readers from North Lanarkshire have been in touch to say they'd like to go along to the Employment Tribunal next week which is great news because the proceedings are held in public, so people are entitled to attend and hear what the Council has to say.
I can't be there every day myself, so it would be good to get some feedback directly from some of the people at the sharp end of things - the claimants.
If senior officials of the Council are in the witness stand, I suspect they will not look forward to giving evidence in front of the low paid council staff whose interests they were supposed to be protecting all these years.
And if you do get along to the tribunal, remember to introduce yourself to Daphne Romney QC who will be doing all the talking on behalf of Action 4 Equality Scotland and its 3,000 plus NLC clients.
