South Lanarkshire

Just a quick update for readers who keep an eye the equal pay hearings - involving South Lanrkshire Council.

The Employment Tribunal has now heard all the evidence from Sue Hastings - the equal pay expert called by Action 4 Equality Scotland and Fox Cross Solicitors.

So the tribunal will not now be sitting on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday of this week - as advised in a previous post - to allow the barristers and legal teams to prepare their final submissions.

The final legal submissions will be heard next week as follows:

Monday 19 December 2011

Tuesday 20 December 2011

Wednesday 21 December 2011

Action 4 Equality Scotland claimants are entitled to attend the hearings next week - and may find the closing stages of the case very interesting.

So why not go along for part of a day at least?

The tribunal normally sits between 10am to 1pm - and again from 2pm to 4pm in the afternoon - although these times are always flexible.
