Generally speaking, I am not a great fan of these You Tube videos - in which some idiot makes a complete fool of himself - by jumping off a high building or putting his hands into a moving mechanical device.
It's nearly always men - by the way - which tells you something about the 'stronger' sex.
Anyway, there's always an exception to prove the general rule - about men doing stupid things being boring rather than funny.
In this case it's a chap called Derek 'Tex' Grebner - a big supporter of one of America's most influential lobby groups - the National Rifle Association (NRA).
And in the course of demonstrating some kind of 'quick-draw McGraw' manoeuvre - Tex manages to shoot himself in the leg - by firing off a shot before his gun has even cleared his holster.
Result - pain, suffering and humiliation on a worldwide scale - though I doubt it's caused him to reflect on his support for the NRA.
