Majestic Majorcan Mauls Murray
Well Andy Murray tried his best - after winning the first set in his semi-final match with Rafael Nadal - the Scot looked to be a real contender.
But the Spaniard raised his game to another level when he needed to most - and ran out a relatively easy winner in the end - pushing Murray around the court at will - with an awesome display of honed skill and raw power.
At the highest level of game tennis - like all top sports - is about mental toughness and attitude.
Murray has the talent - of that there is no doubt - just like Jo-Wilfred Tsonga who can also be 'unbeatable' on his day .
The big question is can Murray produce his best tennis consistently and against the strongest opponents - in the latter stages of a Grand Slam Final?
Who knows - time will tell.
I have my own pet theory about what will give Murray - the edge he needs.
Keep your Mum at the centre of things if you want - though personally I would counsel against.
But for God's sake shave everyday - and stop stepping onto court - looking like a 'grungy teenager'.
Because how are you ever going to do those fancy shaving adverts for TV - with the impeccably groomed Roger Federer - with all that bum fluff on your face?
