Glasgow, DIY and Council Services
Glasgow needs a joined up strategy to tackle its litter, fly-tipping and graffiti problems.
And local politicians need to get real because the solution will not be found by introducing DIY council services, as a way of cleaning up the city's streets and public spaces.
SNP councillor Ruairi Kelly thinks DIY services are a great idea, but I agree with the chap who commented scathingly to the Glasgow Times:
"Pay council tax and then clean up for free. Aye very good. Try putting bins in the streets and parks in the first place."
