Scotland's Botched Census - Calling Ministers To Account

 

I think it's fair to say that if SNP ministers spent as much time and effort on their day jobs as they do campaigning for Indy, Scotland would be in a much better state.

Angus 'Air Miles' Robertson is a good example and should be hauled before the Scottish Parliament to explain the debacle surrounding the £140 million cost of Scotland's  botched census.

I think it's fair to say that if SNP ministers spent the same time and energy on their day jobs (eg on Scotland's ghost ferries and the great census fiasco) as they do banging the drum for Indyref2 - these two epic failures would never have happened.

Even now no Scottish Minister has taken responsibility or been held to account for 'taking their eyes off the ball'.

Not a good look for the Scottish Government that on the day Scotland's census crashed and burned the minister overseeing the whole sorry affair (Angus Robertson) was swanning around in Brussels instead of tending the shop.

PS Who knows why the wackadoodle Lorna Slater from the Greens was there either?

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
