Glasgow, Spruce Ups and Equal Pay
The Scottish Labour leader further accused the SNP of 'neglect' of Scotland's largest city and of 'taking the people of Glasgow for granted'https://t.co/q1yRmEHIeG

Anas Sarwar's criticism about the poor state of Glasgow is perfectly justified - the city is dirty, run down, unkempt and the public realm needs far more than just a wee 'spruce up', as the council's SNP leader claims.
The SNP response over Labour and equal pay is just as daft since one of the first decisions of the new SNP council in 2017 was to appeal and try to overturn the judgment in the Court of Session - that Glasgow's pay arrangements were unlawful and discriminatory.
Predictably, Glasgow city council lost its baloney appeal in December 2017.
Not only that - thousands of low paid women workers had to go on strike in October 2028 to bring the SNP council to its senses which led to serious negotiations and all-party support for a way to resolve the long-running dispute.
