I had a good laugh at Iain Dale's recent interview Nicola Sturgeon which was far too chummy to be taken seriously.

36 minutes in Iain asked a good, pointed question: "When did you last visit your mother-in-law?"

The reason for his question was, of course, to probe Nicola about the £110,000 luxury camper van which had been sitting in her mother-in-law's driveway since 2021, ie how could the SNP party leader not known of its existence?

Nicola side-stepped the question and answered that she hadn't visited her mother-in-law as much as she should over the past two years - 'because of Covid, my work, her work'....etc.

Complete claptrap, of course, since Margaret Murrell (hubby Peter Murrell's mum) is 92 years old, has recently been admitted into a care home - so what 'work' can she possibly have been doing during Covid?

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
