Glasgow and Equal Pay



The local Unison branch in Glasgow is organising another protest next week to keep up the pressure on the City Council in the fight for equal pay- details are as follows:

Date: Thursday 30 November 2017

Time: 4.30pm 

Venue: Outside Glasgow City Chambers

As regular readers know, settlement talks with Glasgow City Council are due to get underway at two meetings on Monday 4th and Monday 11th December.

I think the Council has finally got the message that there has to be more urgency shown and some visible signs of progress in resolving this long-running dispute.

But a good turnout at this 'demo' will help concentrate minds before these settlement discussions .
