Messiah Complex
I'm not the world's greatest fan of the comedian Russell Brand, but you've got to give the man 10 out of 10 for the way he handled his 'hosts' - on an American TV programme with the curious title of 'Morning Joe'.
The sheer rudeness of the three 'professional' presenters was not only matched by the quick wit and humour of Brand - he also took over the whole proceedings and made the show's three 'anchorpersons' look completely ridiculous.
One thing I did learn from the interview is that Russel Brand's new world tour - 'The Messiah Complex' - is to visit a diverse range of countries including Abu Dhabi.
Which is, of course, where the former Labour leader - Gordon Brown - reportedly spends 70 days as year at the Abu Dhabi campus of the New York University - even though he is a 'full-time' Westminster MP.
I read somewhere that Gordon's title at NYU in AB is that of a 'Distinguished Global Leader in Residence' - which sounds a tad overblown if you ask me.
So, maybe Gordon and Russell could get together for a chat, if they're both in Abu Dhabi at the same time - because the comic possibilities are endless.
I might just go and see the Messiah Complex after all - all this publicity and excitement has certainly whetted my appetite.
In the meantime here's a YouTube link to Russell Brand and Morning Joe.
