Exactly How Many Days Are In A Week In Glasgow Southside?

 

A kind reader contacted me to point out that Cllr Mhairi Hunter is also a board member at Greater Glasgow & Clyde NHS which I knew already. 

In fact, I checked and board members receive £9,000 a year based on a time commitment of 1 day per week.

Now this is on top of Cllr Hunter's full-time job at Glasgow City Council and before you take into account Cllr Hunter's role as 'Office Assistant' at Nicola Sturgeon's constituency office.

So the obvious question that springs to my mind is - "Exactly how many days are in a week over in Glasgow Southside?"

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
