Humza Isn't Listening

Louise Slorance slams Humza Yousaf after the First Minister failed to act against Glasgow health chiefs who spied on her and her late husband.

Andrew Slorance, Louise's husband, died at Glasgow's showcase Queen Elizabeth Hospital after contracting Covid while awaiting a stem cell transplant.

Louise was only told after Andrew's death that he was also infected with the bacteria Aspergillus - but she was never told about it and has accused health bosses in Glasgow of a cover up. 

“Very little came from the meeting. I think the First Minister thought I was there to only talk to him about the spying, which was not the case.

“He did not seem to have been fully briefed about all the information about Andrew’s case or about what has been happening with the public inquiry.

“It went on for some time but I didn’t come out of there thinking he had fully understood the problems or that he would do anything about them.”

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
