Freedom of Information (FOI)

The Scottish Information Commissioner - Kevin Dunion - called for an overhaul of Scotland's FOI laws at the weekend.

In a report which will be debated in the Holyrood Parliament - Mr Dunion says the Scottish Government has failed to match moves south of the Border - to extend the legislation to new public bodies.

I know exactly what he means - and I'm going to find an example that will help illustrate the point - starting with COSLA (Convention of Scottish Local Authorities).

So watch this space.
