Scott Harrison


I see that Scottish boxer - Scott Harrison - has been arrested again after another public 'stramash' - only this time at a local supermarket in Rutherglen. 

Now this young man must be a very troubled soul - something that is not remotely difficult to spot.

I imagine he needs a right good boot up the arse - along with professional help and support - otherwise the downward spiral is bound to continue.

Because Scott - a former world champion boxer - has pressed the self-destruct button again - again after being handed a second chance to rebuild his life and boxing career.

I only hope he's not a member of the Scottish Labour party.

Because by now he would probably have been publicly disowned and told that he was being expelled from ther party - withouth even the benefit of a disciplinary hearing.

As they say - It's a tough old world out there.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
