Today's newpapers headlines make miserable reading for Nicola Sturgeon after a huge public backlash forced the SNP led Scottish Government to act over the trans rapist affair. Sturgeon owes Scotland and women in particular a humble  apology.

Nicola Sturgeon loves to criticise other people's behaviour, but she is a terrible hypocrite when it comes to the lack of independent scrutiny over Scotland's ministerial code.
