Glaswegians Taken For A Ride


Glasgow Green councillor Elaine Gallagher - a man who self-IDs as a woman has run up a huge council tax bill - and is now £2,497 in arrears according to newspaper reports.

Even more astonishingly the bill has increased over the past five months.

  1. How can this man have been selected by the Scottish Greens to stand as a councillor?
  2. How can this man still be a councillor and a member of the Scottish Greens?
  3. Why hasn't Glasgow City Council arrested his salary and recovered the monies owed?
In April 2025 SNP ministers handed councillors like Cllr Gallagher a 22% pay increase taking his annual salary from £21,345 to £25,982
