Scotland's Public Services - Misusing Public Money?

A union contact in the Fire Service tells me that individual firefighters are asked to volunteer to attend  LGBT+ Pride marches like this recent event in Glasgow.

Not only that 'volunteers' are apparently paid overtime to attend these demonstrations which promote highly disputed issues like self-ID - and men declaring they have magically 'become women'.

To my mind this is clearly discriminatory since the Fire Service, as far as I know, doesn't pay overtime for staff to attend other events which criticise or take a different stance to the trans lobby?

I must contact the Fire Service and the Fire Brigades Union to see what they have to say because this is not a proper use of public money.
