Trade Unions - Acting As 'Judge, Jury and Executioner'

What is the point of a trade union that does not provide  members with advice and support when they are most in need of practical help and representation?

A whole succession of disturbing cases where trade unions have acted as 'judge, jury and executioner' are now coming to the fore - Kathleen Stock, Jo Phoenix, the Darlington Nurses, Sandie Peggie and now Jennifer Melle.
