Jackanory Meets Frankly

After reading the press excerpts from Nicola Sturgeon's new book I've come up with an alternative, more accurate title - Jackanory!

Everything I've read so far is the most self-serving drivel - a poorly written, vainglorious attempt to reinvent history by some who can't write for toffee and takes herself far too seriously.

I won't be buying a copy.

Kentucky Fried Seagull

Hugh Fearnley Whitingstall is one of my favourite - and endearingly bonkers - TV chefs. The River Cottage chef has a some imaginative ideas for adding seagulls to the national diet - including a recipe for Kentucky Fried Seagull - would you believe.
