Another astonishing aspect of John Swinney's bonkers far-right summit is that Police Scotland were represented at what was a party political gathering. 

Now until recently Police Scotland would have struggled to define a woman as an adult human female, but why are they getting involved in Scottish politics when their job is to fight crime - without fear or favour?
