The rapid rise in cases of anorexia 30 years ago is eerily similar to the more recent increase in trans identifying teenagers, particularly teenage girls.
Yet the response to young people suffering from a dreadful eating disorder did not result in patients being 'affirmed as too fat (ie affirmative care), being assigned diet coaches or receiving liposuction surgery.
