Glasgow's 'Sickening' Superhospital

Have any of Glasgow's SNP MSPs commented on the dreadful state of the city's Queen Elizabeth Hospital?

I haven't heard a word out of Glasgow MSPs Nicola Sturgeon or Humza Yousaf, for example, although Humza lives in Dundee rather than Glasgow these days and may be preoccupied with Gaza, as usual, instead of what's going on in his own backyard.

A special report in Sunday Mail confirmed:

  • pest control experts were called out 623 times between 2015 and 2021 to deal with dead birds, wasps, ants, cockroaches and other pests invading the site
  • 3 more patients contracted infections from bird droppings but health chiefs dismissed the cases and claimed they’re not linked to the hospital’s pigeon problem
  • rotting sponges and debris were found inside water tanks servicing the hospital

How embarrassing for a 'flagship' hospital.

SNP - 'Mr&Mrs' Politburo

Jim Sillars is spot on about the dreadful personality cult which allowed Peter Murrell and Nicola Sturgeon to run the SNP as a 'Mr & Mrs' tag team for years. What's astonishing is that SNP members - party activists, councillors, MSPs and MPs - turned a blind eye to things for so long  which helps explain why the SNP is in such a terrible mess today.
