Women's Rights and Single Sex Spaces















Graham Linehan shared a great video of Thursday's good natured and peaceful protest at the Scottish Parliament - where people gathered to show their support for women's rights and single sex spaces.

A trans rights activist makes an attempt to disrupt the event by barking out a "Keep hate off our streets" recorded message via a loudhailer - and this pathetic behaviour is cheered on by the SNP.

Deliberate Smears and Offensive Language (September 04, 2021)


On the same day Nicola Sturgeon complained about language used in the Scottish Parliament the SNP's National Equalities Convener deliberately smears peaceful Holyrood protesters as 'anti-trans' - even though they were standing up for women's rights and single sex spaces.

And just in case anyone didn't get the intended message a completely unnecessary reference to 'fascists' was thrown in for good measure.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer. So here's a list of activities which will help shine a light on what has been going on because as Lord Nolan once said apropos driving up standards in public life - 'daylight is the best disinfectant'.
