Ed For PM!

Ed Miliband - the Labour Party leader - has received a big boost is his drive to become Prime Minister - the support of one George Galloway, the Respect MP for Bradford West.

Now Ed probably wanted this endorsement like another hole in his head - because George of course took the Bradford West seat from Labour - which represented a humiliating defeat for the Labour leadership.

But George knows how to milk a media opportunity for all its worth and his recent private meeting with the Labour leader (see post dated 25 April 2013 - 'Come Into My Parlour) - has given the Respect MP the opportunity to patronise his new chum.

By George saying that he wants to see Ed as Prime Minister - "the sooner the better".

Ouch! - that had to hurt, because no one likes being talked down to and treated in this patronising way.

Not least because it has forced the Labour leader to respond and be rude about George by saying that while George may want Ed to become PM - Ed doesn't want George to be returned as an MP.

And I thought the two men were getting on like a house on fire.
