0 police inquiries, arrests, criminal charges or convictions

0 job losses

Since the setting-up of the Saville Inquiry into the Bloody Sunday shootings which killed 13 people, there have been:

1 police inquiry

0 arrests, criminal charges or convictions

Since the setting-up of the Leveson Inquiry into the scandal at News of the World and the wider "cultures, practices and ethics of the press", there have been: 

3 police inquiries

113 arrests

15 sets of criminal charges against journalists, their staff and partners

4 public officials convicted and jailed for their contact with journalists

135 journalists made redundant due to the closure of the News of the World
