Men Do Not Belong In Women's Single Sex Spaces

A woman with black hair speaks while seated. She is wearing a patterned blue, white and brown jacket over a white top, with a window and a white wall behind her.

Baroness Kishwer Falkner has added her voice to those questioning the employment tribunal decision in the case of Sandie Peggie vs NHS Fife.

The tribunal agreed that Sandie Peggie had been harassed by her employer and treated less favourably than a male colleague (a doctor), but the tribunal decision is out of step with the recent ruling of the UK Supreme Court on biological sex and single sex spaces.

Baroness Falkner told BBC Scotland:

"If you decide that you're providing a single-sex facility, then you cannot allow any biological males into that facility."

Exactamundo.
