Glasgow, Gaza and Hamas

A sparse turnout for a pro-Palestine rally as I passed through Glasgow's George Square on Saturday.

I listened briefly to two of the speakers (both shouty men) who were completely one-sided and partisan.

Maybe the penny is dropping that this terrible conflict will only be resolved if and when there are security guarantees for both sides.

Peace talks, never mind a peace settlement, are impossible to imagine while Hamas continues with its murderous attacks on Israeli civilians and its campaign of kidnapping  innocent civilian hostages including young children.

More Jew-Hate In Glasgow (November 12, 2023)

I'd love to know why these pro-Palestinian protesters keep marching on Marks&Spencers?

M&S is not a Jewish store and even if it were, that's not reason to stand outside shouting abuse - unless it's just more ugly Jew-hate on display.

Jew-Hate In Glasgow (1) November 03, 2023

An angry mob targeted Marks & Spencer in Glasgow's Argyle Street - chanting slogans about Israel and terrorism while having nothing to say about Hamas and its horrific attack on Israeli civilians which has triggered the latest crisis in Gaza.
