Scottish Ministers, Lobbying Groups and Public Money?

SNP ministers fund Stonewall - a powerful, well-resourced lobbying organisation. 

Stonewall gets privileged access to Scottish Ministers and subsequent ScotGov policy begins to align closely with the policies of Stonewall.

For example, removing the word 'mother' from the Scottish Government's maternity policy - see post below from 26 November 2021.

Does this strike anyone else as very odd and in urgent need of independent investigation, perhaps by Audit Scotland?

Stonewall are now trying to say this didn't happen, but here's a great tweet from David Thompson exposing the fact that Stonewall did pressurise Scottish Ministers into removing the word 'mother' from their maternity policy.

No wonder the Scottish Government are trying to keep their dealings with Stonewall secret and under wraps.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
