I don't know the kind of operation this person needs, but unacceptably long waiting times were common long before Covid - for knee and hip replacements, for example.
And no one swallows this guff about Scotland's NHS is not quite as bad the NHS in England or Wales - how does that help someone who's waiting in pain or living with a debilitating condition for two years?
