Politicians, Bogus Complaints and Police Scotland
"The founder of a charity supporting women who have suffered domestic violence has been interviewed by police after she was reported for hate crime after stressing its female-only services."

Police Scotland sent two detectives to interview a charity chief, Nicola Murray, who was reported for a 'hate crime' after standing up for women's rights and single sex spaces.
Now this is laughable, yet serious and highly disturbing at the same time - with echoes of Police Scotland's appalling treatment of Marion Millar last year.
Who exactly was behind this complaint and what was the basis of the complaint - given that the right to single sex spaces is protected under the Equality Act 2010?
In my view the complaint was malicious, had no substance and represented a terrible waste of police time, but surely the same thought must have occurred to Police Scotland as well - in which case why did they give it the time of day?
Scotland's politicians including opposition parties ought to be insisting that Police Scotland explains what's going on.
