Job Creation and Hard Borders

 

The SNP's Emma Harper is in the news again after a spat with a fellow Holyrood MSP which is as good a reason as any for sharing Emma's bizarre thoughts on hard borders and job creation.

Desperately Dissing Emma (April 24, 2021)

Nicola Sturgeon is trying desperately to distance herself from the unhinged 'borders are good' comments of Emma Harper who is the top SNP candidate on the regional list for South Scotland.

The scary thing is that when she made these comments Emma had been a Holyrood MSP for the past 5 years.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
