Andy Young is the driving force behind a great Glasgow business based in Yoker which can give your favourite pieces of furniture a whole new lease of life.

I had some nice pine cabinets which didn't fit in with our new home, so getting them sanded them down and re-sprayed seemed like a good idea.

And so it proved.

Andy explained the process, the price was right, the items were picked up and taken away to his workshop in Yoker.

Just days later we had our furniture back looking fantastic in their new pastel shades of Dayroom Yellow, Cooking Apple Green and Pavilion Grey.

So I can recommend the quality of the work and the service provided by Andy and his team - in fact I was so pleased with the result I'm getting a kitchen table done as well.

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
