Glasgow Floods - Asking For Trouble
David Forrester proved to be spot on with his tweet back in August which predicted that Glasgow City Council's failure to keep the drains clear was just asking for trouble.Never seen Byres Road flooded in all the years I lived in Glasgow 😳

Not Just Any Cop-Out - A COP26 Cop-Out (August 12, 2021)
David Forrester makes a fair point about blocked street drains all over Glasgow which often cause localised flooding.
Seems to me the problem is Glasgow City Council not having an organised maintenance programme in place because as David says he's drawn attention to many examples over the years, yet not one has ever been fixed.
In which case blaming climate change sounds like a bit of a cop-out - maybe even a COP26 cop-out?
