Alcohol and Anti-Social Behaviour

What supercilious load of old tosh from The Herald's assistant news editor Amanda Love.

The reason for the police presence in Kelvingrove Park is because of public drunkenness and anti-social behaviour.

I'm all in favour of the kind of 'cafe culture' where people have fun sharing public spaces, respect each other and clear up after themselves - though sadly that's not what happens when large groups gather and get out of their heads on cheap booze.

I don't know when Amanda walked through the park last weekend, but she must have done so with her eyes wide shut.
